The Drivehome price is dynamically calculated. It may change if weather or special events make it more expensive for our drivers. The basic rate is 10€ + 1.50€ from the third km.
Our drivers are part of a network of drivers that we carefully select using criteria such as recurring licence point checks, driving experience, criminal record checks and test drives. In addition, most of them are active members of benefit associations for the protection and prevention of road victims with which Drivehome is collaborating to make Europe's roads safer. Each driver receives a customer review after every ride, which makes our platform even safer and more resilient to unpleasant trips.
At present, the app only provides on-demand booking of One-Way trips. However, it will soon be possible to book a driver for several hours, however no more than 8 consecutive hours.
Download the dedicated app ‘Drivehome - Driver Only’ from your reference store, complete the registration by following the instructions provided and submit your application. Once the requirements have been verified, you will receive authorisation to start working with us. Download now
If the service lasts longer than expected, we may apply a surcharge to the trip, but in any case it will never be 50% higher than the quote initially proposed and accepted.
The driver will wait for you up to a maximum of 10 minutes from the time of your arrival at the meeting point. Once this limit has been exceeded, the ride will be automatically cancelled and you will be charged the cost of the ride, including the driver's waiting time in accordance with the fares.
Payment on the Drivehome app is made by Credit or Debit card. It's a pre-authorisation payment, which will only be deducted from your current account when the ride has been successfully completed and the customer has arrived at exactly the desired destination.
